We recently discovered that an unauthorized party has used the Playmeow logo and brand elements to create a fraudulent website, playmeows.com (with an extra “s”). They even altered our brand name Playmeow into “Playmoew” (swapping the “o” and “e”) to appear legitimate, attempting to trick users into downloading a fake Playmeow APK.

To protect your safety, please do NOT log in on the fake website, do NOT enter personal or credit card information, and do NOT download any files from that site.
We have already begun legal and technical actions, including reporting the fraudulent domain to the hosting provider and domain registrar, and we will continue monitoring the situation.
